I enjoy the experience of racing here each year. I am a family guy who does a few races each year. I am never "in it to win it." I like pushing myself and seeing how well I do. I don't enjoy being passed by juniors, ss riders and every woman at the race. It is all for fun in my book. I also do it for my 3 year old son who loves to win cookies in the 24 minutes of GG. Everyone should watch out in the 12 hour solo division this year, I have upped my volume of training up to 6-7 hours a week!!! Impressive I know. See you all there. I'll be the guy on the super awesome KHS sucking wind and being passed by single speed riders eating PB & J's (actually happend at Pat's Peak 6 hour last year). |
