The Course is Set: Let's Race!
And what a course it turned out to be! With a course length of 11.73 miles, 1,888 feet of vertical climbing and mile after mile of hard-packed, ridge-top singletrack, this course rips! Granny Gear's courses have become famous for their entertainment value and The 24 Hours of Temecula will not disappoint. As you can see from the aerial photo map, we had lots of great terrain to use to design the course. Expect sub one-hour Pro times and average expert/sport times about 1:15 to 1:35. As always, our RealTime™ Scoring system will track every team, every racer, every lap, every time and post it to the web (and to our on-site computers), in real time.
The Start/Finish area is set in a beautiful grove of old oak trees at the center of Vail Lake's camping and RV park. Vail Lake Resort is only open for special events so you won't be able to pre-ride the course until the week before the race (see Schedule of Events for practice dates & times).
Registration is a SnapYou can register your entire team using Granny Gear's easy-to-use on-line registration or you can download printable mail-in pdf forms.
