9 Mile Camping & RV's

Food Service
We will have round-the-clock food vendors for racers and non-racers alike with lots of stick-to-your-ribs chow (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and plenty of coffee, juices, soda and power drinks. The food service starts up on friday evening from 6p.m. to 10 p.m. and the picks-up again at 6 a.m. Saturday morning and stays open the rest of the race till 4 p.m. Sunday.

Camping
Camping is available at the race site on Friday and Saturday night, on a first-come-first-served basis. A gate fee of $10 per person will be charged with kids under 12 free. Racers and non-racers alike pay the entrance fee to help defray the costs of insurance, port-o-lets, showers, trash removal, area use fees and provide a fund-raiser for the Ski Team. Each paid camper will be issued a wristband upon entering the venue. No reservations are required and while there is plenty of room for everyone, we do ask that you camp as space efficiently as possible.

RV's and Trailers
If you're looking for the finest in wilderness accommodations, RV's and trailers are the way to go. Please note that there are no hook-ups for RV parking at the venue. Your RV will have to be self-contained (electric, water, septic, cable TV). Camping fees are $10 per person. As always, kids under 12 camp free. Each paid camper will be issued a wristband by GGP Event Staff. The fee applies to RV'ers as well as campers.

Finer Accommodations

NOTE: The campgrounds are divided by whether or not you intend to use generators. All campers, RV's and trailers that plan to use generators must set-up in the specified area.

Also, please leave Fido and other pets at home!

Other Facilities:
Hot Showers
There will be hot showers available free-of-charge to all campers, running from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday nights before the race and run continuously from 8 a.m. Saturday till 6 p.m. on Sunday. We'll also run them from 8 a.m. till 11 a.m. on Monday for any Sunday night campers.

Fire & Ice
Firewood and ice along with the usual compliment of camping supplies and food will be available from the Big Bear Country Store located on the road to the venue.

Port-O-lets
More than 40 port-O-lets and service them round-the-clock. Our suppliers do a great job so you'll always find a clean, well supplied facility, when nature calls. You can also have them pump your RV for $30.

Garbage Removal
When you go through the gate and purchase your wrist band, you will be issued a heavy-duty garbage bag. Once filled, please dispose of these bags along with any other garbage in one of the six large dumpsters that are provided. Thanks for "leaving no trace" at your campground.

Camping onsite:
Camping is availble onsite for $10 per person for Friday and Saturday nights. Kids 18 and under are free. Any set up in advance of Friday will require an additonal fee of $40 per site.

Pay at the front gate when you arrive.

Showers, garbage, toilet facilities are all included in the camping fees. Water/sewer and electric hookups are not available.

NOTE:  The Red Bud Road checkpoint will never be quiet.  If you are noise averse, please bring earplugs and/or camp away from the Red Bud Road checkpoint.
