| 7th June Report #1 - Eric McKeegan - For the second year in a row, I've traveled down from Dirt Rag HQ for the 24 Hours of Big Bear. I didn't get a chance to ride last year, but I should get my fill this year. Karen and I are getting ready to race in the duo class, which should provide me with plenty of time on the trail. The weather calls for hot and dry, something I'm not going to complain about. The riders' meeting has just started and I'll have to leave the cool confines of the media trailer in a moment to get ready. I've got a bit of the butterflies going on, but it is a good feeling. I didn't do any racing for a few years but I'm really stoked to be toeing the line on a regular basis again. |
