Important 2007 Race Series Update: It's ON!!!

So, here's the skinny: 2006 saw the launch of the Inaugural 24 Hour National Point Series. It was a supreme achievement for Granny Gear and her staff. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun, and it worked beautifully. We had 16 teams qualify for the series and the points system worked great. We added three new events to the Series.

It was also supremely expensive. We knew going in that going big would set us back but as the bills kept pouring in, well, it was starting to look bleak. Frankly, you haven't heard from us yet because the fate of the six-race point series has been in question... until NOW!

Sponsors make it happen
Sponsorships have always been important. Everything we've done over the years simply would not have been possible without their vital support. That's never been more true than this year. We're very excited to announce to you today that GGP has earned two major sponsorships from EAS and Toyota. The support from these two great companies (see below) is making the 2007 Series possible and if this year goes as well as we hope it does, then the 24 Hour National Point Series will succeed for many years to come.

The Toyota FJ Trail Team comes out to play at all 6 races
They're loading up their mountain bikes and wheeling their way to each of Granny Gear's events. They'll be running support for the EMS folk, shuttling volunteers and taking spectators out to remote "hot spots" to cheer-on racers all through the night! You'll see FJ's running all over the place.
